Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging.

All returns and exchanges must be requested through our online returns portal and approved before being sent back. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Theory of Ours is not responsible for lost return shipments.

DAMAGES & ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

EXCEPTIONS/NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on 1 of 1 items, framed art, sale items, or gift cards.

GIFT CARDS

Theory of Ours gift cards are delivered electronically. No physical gift card will be shipped.

Gift card purchases are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash, except where required by applicable law.

Gift cards do not expire and may be used across multiple purchases until the full balance has been redeemed.

Items purchased using a gift card remain subject to our standard return policy. Where a return is approved, any amount originally paid using a gift card will be refunded to that gift card or issued as a replacement gift card where necessary.

EXCHANGES

We offer exchanges for a different size of the same item, subject to availability.

To request an exchange, please use our online returns portal. All exchanges must be approved, and items must meet our return eligibility requirements.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable shipping costs associated with sending the replacement item.

STORE CREDIT

Customers may choose to receive store credit instead of a refund to their original payment method.

As a thank you for choosing store credit, we'll add an additional 10% to the eligible return value.

Store credit will be issued once the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.

EUROPEAN UNION 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD 

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional processing time.
